Meet Nicolette, the lady behind L'ivresse! 

I am Nicolette, a native Vermonter and Francophile with a background in theater. After hearing friends complain about the local offerings, I decided to put my bra fitting experience to work and open L'ivresse Lingerie.

L’ivresse is focused on inclusive inventory, featuring A-J Cup Bras and selected brands for specialized fit needs. We also carry Lingerie sized 2-18 in a variety of styles, from every day to special occasions. We know that staying at home has changed your needs, so we offer wireless bras that work well for everyday and are designed for comfort.

L'ivresse directly translates as "intoxicated." In French, the term would be used to describe a feeling, getting lost in a moment. I picked this name from a piece in the opera, Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Jaques Offenbach. "Belle nuit, O nuit d'amour" talks about lovers lost in a moment. This is a commonly referenced piece in the lingerie industry, also a sentiment that she finds lovely. Lingerie is the blanket term for all support/undergarments. From your cotton underwear to your silk, it is all lingerie. At L'ivresse we believe that sexy isn't a thing, it is a feeling.
