12-22 North

12-22 North is a state-of-the-art, ultra energy-efficient pro-working space with a mission of developing renewable energy technologies while providing invigorating workspaces for emerging green businesses. Built in 1980 this building was designed as a passive solar and energy-efficient building. We purchased the building in 2004 and gave it a much needed face-lift and are on our way to having the first commercial retro-fit net-zero building in Burlington. We have shifted our business model to safer, more private pro-working offices for remote workers to still stay connected. Our building and outdoor event space, on the edge of the Waterfront and the Old North End, is a proud sustainable transportation and green technology hub, hosting scientists and innovators from all over Vermont at our Distributed Energy Resource testbed facilities and bright office spaces. We host several tenants, including the IoT Conduit, Lab B, Smart Resource Labs, Healthy Kingdom, Burlington Technical Center, and Full Barrel Coop.
