Happy Fantastic Designs

Happy Fantastic Designs is a collection of unique & original illustrations by artist Joanne Kalisz. I silk-screen my art on clothing and accessories in my Burlington, Vermont studio. I also sew a lot of my handbags and accessories from scratch. I follow "green" and sustainable business practices by using up-cycled fabric whenever I can. My work is inspired by pop art, 60’s mod, punk rock, and cute woodland creatures.

Most of my work is one-of-a-kind or made in very limited edition so the items on this website are examples (many of which have already been sold). I primarily sell my Happy Fantastic art at the Burlington Farmers Market, on Etsy, and in my Online Shop.

I received my BFA with honors from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design where I studied ceramics, fine arts, and experimental film, & animation. I am also certified to teach art, PK-12, in the state of Vermont (click HERE to be redirected to my teaching portfolio).
