The Vermont Pub and Brewery
The Vermont Pub & Brewery is Vermont’s original craft Brew Pub and premier local experience founded by the late, renowned craft brewing pioneer and author Greg Noonan in 1988. It is the longest-running craft brewery in Vermont, serving a full menu and brewing over 80 styles of beer each year thanks to the small 14-barrel brewhouse augmented by a half-barrel experimental system. VPB won its first gold medal in 1991 at the Great American Beer Festival, and it has received many awards since then. Now, VPB serves 10+ house-brewed draught beers, and the food menu has changed little since the pub’s early days. VPB proudly supports local food producers and partners with over 20 local businesses to offer a populist array of food and beer made with Vermont-grown ingredients.
Shannon Smith of www.associatedcontent.com describes “The Vermont Pub and Brewery is always coming up with new formulas to make better beer and they have accomplished this repeatedly…You are encouraged the next time you visit Burlington Vermont to sit down in The Vermont Pub and Brewery, order a plate of Fish and Chips, and ask your server to pick a beer to complement them. You will not be disappointed.”
