While most of their bagel sandwiches and salads are under$10, they have a special soup and buttered bagel deal for only $6! Get any bagel of your choosing with butter and the soup of the day. City Market Hot Bar
City Market is so much more than groceries, it has a great hot bar lunch selection too! The menu rotates weekly, offering a wide range of dishes that have options for those who are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. We especially love their grab and go sushi that ranges from $5-$15. Hong's Chinese Dumplings
Hong’s Chinese Dumplings is a Marketplace favorite. Originating as a Cart Vendor on Church Street, their new storefront is located at 77 Pearl Street. Hong’s dumplings are some of the best in town, and luckily for us you can get a fantastic lunch portion for under $10! You can get four dumplings for $8; our favorites are the crab cream cheese. Kountry Kart Deli
The Kountry Kart Deli is a great place to get some solid sandwiches. Located at 155 Main St, almost everything on their menu is under $10. They have subs, wraps, hotdogs, vegetarian fare, and our personal recommendation shiners and risers. Kountry Kart Deli’s food is a hearty lunch that’ll keep you full for hours! Sherpa Kitchen is a Burlington local favorite located on 119 College Street. Their Momo dumplings are the perfect mix of a polish perogy and samosa with loads of different stuffing for a lunch that never disappoints. The rest of their menu is delicious too with noodle soups and curry all under $15. They’re open Monday thru Saturday, so go check them out! P.s. Their Momo dumplings are also sold at City Market. We are always in the mood for Indian food and if you feel the same, Masala Elaichi is the place for you. They have a great buffet at $12 and lunch specials at $9.50 for meat and $8.50 for vegetarian options that are perfect for a meal on a budget. Kismayo Kitchen has fantastic Somali food at an unbeatable price. You can taste the care and love put in their dishes which makes for a great lunch option. Everything on their menu is under $10 with combo meals coming out to around $12. We recommend their coconut chicken stew and Somali rice. Go give them a try! Ahli Baba Kabob Shop
Who doesn’t like a good kabob for lunch? I know we do, and Ahli Baba Kabob Shop does not disappoint. Located 163 Main St, it’s a great place to stop for a chicken pita. Pho Son is serving up some fantastic Vietnamese street food 213 on College Street. All their Báhn Mi sandwiches are under $11 with a tofu option for people who don’t eat meat. They also have wonton soup for $7 and pork meatballs skewers for $8. However, if you’re craving pho, you can get a nice big bowl for around $16.
