Sherpa Kitchen
Sherpa Kitchen is a Burlington local favorite located at 119 College Street. Their Momos are the perfect mix of Polish pierogi and samosa with loads of different stuffing for a lunch that never disappoints. City Market Hot Bar
City Market is much more than groceries; it has a great hot bar lunch selection, too! While this one is no secret, it's worth the recognition. The menu rotates weekly, offering a wide range of dishes that have options for those who are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. City Market is an excellent option for those looking for lots of variety! In a rush? Snag something from the grab-and-go cooler next to the registers! Hong's Chinese Dumplings
Hong's Chinese Dumplings is a Marketplace favorite. Originally a Cart Vendor on Church Street, their permanent storefront is now at 77 Pearl Street. Hong's dumplings are some of the best in town, and luckily for us, you can get a great lunch portion for under $10. You can get four dumplings for $8; our favorites are the crab rangoon dumpling! Masala Elaichi
We are always in the mood for Indian food, and if you feel the same, Masala Elaichi is the place for you. They have a great buffet at $12, lunch specials at $9.50 for meat, and $8.50 vegetarian options that are perfect for a meal on a budget. Pho Son
Pho Son serves some fantastic Vietnamese street food at 213 College Street. All their Báhn Mi sandwiches are under $11 with a tofu option as well. They also have wonton soup for $7 and pork meatballs skewers for $8. However, if you’re craving pho, you can get a nice big bowl for around $16. Kismayo Kitchen
Kismayo Kitchen has fantastic Somali food at an unbeatable price. You can taste the care and love put into their dishes, making them a great lunch option. Everything on their menu is under $10, with combo meals costing around $12. We recommend their coconut chicken stew and Somali rice. Ahli Baba's Kabob Shop
Who doesn't like a good kabob for lunch? I know we do, and Ahli Baba's Kabob Shop does not disappoint. Located at 163 Main St, it's a great place to stop for a chicken pita. Kountry Kart Deli
It's no secret the Kountry Kart Deli has some serious sandwiches. Located at 155 Main St, almost everything on their menu is under $10. Zabby & Elf's Stone Soup
Zabby & Elf's Stone Soup has a warm, veggie-heavy rotation of Jewish dishes in addition to delicious soup and sandwiches. While all Zabby and Elf's dishes are delicious, we are here to highlight the soup. Veggie soups come in at $7.25 for a bowl and $6 for a cup, while their meat-forward soups are $8 for a bowl and $7.25 for a cup. So if you want the best bang for your buck, definitely go for a bowl! Plus, all of their soups come with a side of warm fresh baked bread.
