Independent & Community-based Arts Production

During the Covid-19 pandemic, small performing arts and community organizations have been hit hard, as have community organizations focused on folk, ethnic, and cultural education. With mainstream venues and cultural institutions compromised by the pandemic, the need to present and experience live performances and cultural events has incentivized both artists and community members to explore alternative spaces as flexible sites for safe events.
